Policy for Fees of Rating Services
Beacon Ratings fee structure is determined by the following factors:
- Quantum of work
- Hours of work
- Complexity level
- Size of business
- Nature of business
Beacon Ratings fees are subject to:
- Latest and previous rating
- Quantum of work
- 75% of full payment in advance at the time of signing a rating contract. The remaining 25% shall be paid before the rating report is released.
- Agreed upon out of station travel expense chargeable separately when incurred.
- Reviews affecting existing clients on the anniversary of signed contract or at the date of renewal/surveillance.
- Annual surveillance fee is due on the anniversary of signed contract and shall be payable within fifteen (15) days after billing of invoice. Fees due and unpaid beyond 1 month shall attract an interest charge of 2% per month for period beginning from the date of invoice.
- All applicable taxes on the rating service by government.
Beacon Ratings discussion and negotiation of rating fees with prospective and existing clients is undertaken by non-rating staff. Rating Analysts interaction with clients is limited to the estimation of quantum and hours work required to complete an assignment, and complexity level of work.
