Policy for No Objection Certificate
Purpose
Beacon Ratings’ policy for issuing No Objection Certificate (NOC) to switching clients is designed to promote transparency and stability in ratings and generally providing unbiased rating opinions to clients.
Scope
The policy is designed to apply to all clients of Beacon Ratings.
NOC policy
Beacon Ratings may consider issuing NOC to clients that have provide notification in writing about switching their rating assignment to any other credit rating agency, only after the next surveillance process of such client is completed. Clients that intend to switch their rating assignment from other credit rating agencies to Beacon Ratings will equally be required to produce NOC.As indicated in the purpose of this policy, the intention is to promote transparency and stability in ratings. Considering the importance of credit ratings for the general investor community, Beacon Ratings discourages sudden approach in switching credit rating assignments between credit rating agencies.
